The Office for the Liturgical Celebrations of Leo XIV has dismissed Monsignor Marco Agostini, reports SilereNonPossum.com. The priest from Verona also celebrates Mass in the Roman Rite and has taken part in traditional pilgrimages. The decision was taken following the publication of a video in which Monsignor Agostini, referring to the Roman Curia and the College of Cardinals, used the term “culattoni” (a derogatory slur meaning “faggots”).

New York Archbishop Deletes Evidence of Homosexual Chancellor: Despite receiving dozens of emails and phone calls urging him to address the scandal involving his "married" homosexual chancellor in the Diocese of Joliet, newly appointed New York Archbishop Ronald Hicks remains silent. According to Complicit Clergy, Hicks even removed references from the diocesan website in an apparent effort to conceal the fact that David Salvato had ever worked for him.

Before He Went to Work for Bishop Hicks, Salvato Was Employed by Archbishop Gómez

Last week, we shared with you the story that David Salvato, the chancellor for the diocese of Joliet, ‘married’ his boyfriend on December 13. Bishop Hicks, the bishop of Joliet, has remained silent in spite of receiving dozens of emails and phone calls asking him to address this scandal. Hicks went as far as scrubbing the diocesan website to conceal that Salvato ever worked there.
Now we learn that before he went to work for Hicks, Salvato worked as a canon lawyer for Archbishop Jose Gomez for 10 years. Salvato worked in the Metropolitan Tribunal were he oversaw the investigation of nearly 200 marriage annulment cases each year. Did you get that? Gómez assigned a homosexual man to make decisions about hundreds of marriage annulments in his archdiocese. How is someone who does not subscribe to the Catholic Church’s teaching on human anthropology make decisions about a sacramental marriage involving a man and a woman? A Catholic woman shared similar concerns in a comment on the Salvato …

What Is Saint Sylvester’s Day? | The Catholic Meaning Behind New Year’s Eve
Saint Sylvester’s Day is the Catholic liturgical commemoration of Saint Sylvester I, Pope, whose feast day falls on December 31. While the modern world associates this date with fireworks, countdowns, and celebrations, the Church invites the faithful to see New Year’s Eve through a deeper spiritual lens. Saint Sylvester I was pope during a pivotal moment in Church history—the era of Emperor Constantine and the legalization of Christianity. His feast marks the close of the liturgical year’s civil calendar and offers Catholics an opportunity for gratitude, reflection, and renewal. Traditionally, many Catholic communities observe Saint Sylvester’s Day with thanksgiving Masses, Eucharistic adoration, or prayers reflecting on God’s grace throughout the year. Rather than merely “saying goodbye” to the old year, Saint Sylvester’s Day reminds believers to entrust the coming year to God, acknowledge His faithfulness …තව

Leo XIV Appoints Brazilian Coadjutor Bishop: "Francis' Synod a True Blessing"

Pope Leo XIV has appointed Fr Milton Zonta, S.D.S., as coadjutor bishop of the diocese of Criciúma in Brazil.
Born on 2 June 1960 in Videira, Santa Catarina, he joined the Salvatorians and was ordained a priest on 17 January 1987.
He lived in Rome for 18 years, including 12 years (2012–2024) as Superior General of the Salvatorians. After two consecutive terms, he returned to live in his home diocese of Videira, Brazil, in 2024.
During public appearances, he usually wears civilian clothing.
In his first message today following his appointment, Monsignor Zonta expressed his desire for a "synodal spirit". He voiced his support for "a welcoming and missionary Church" and "the paths of synodality".
New Bishop Met Once with Cardinal Prevost
Following the election of Pope Leo XIV, Fr Zonta described the moment as 'historic' and a sign of unity for the Church.
He recalled meeting the future pope during his time as Prefect of the Congregation of Bishops, describing him as humble, welcoming and …තව

Letter to the Galatians 4,4-7.
Brothers and sisters: When the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
to ransom those under the law, so that we might receive adoption.
As proof that you are children, God sent the spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"
So you are no longer a slave but a child, and if a child then also an heir, through God.

Gerhard Ludwig Cardinal Müller in homily in English at Mass in memory of Pope Benedict XVI, on the eve of the Third Anniversary of his death, says of the late Pope: “Both as a professor of theology and a mass sought-after preacher, he consistently put himself in the service of the word. As prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, he set standards of the highest diligence, intellectual precision and incorruptibility for the Roman magisterium. During his pontificate, he was one of the greatest theologians on the Kathedra Petri.”

Benedict XVI On His Writings: "Who Is Going to Read All That?"

In his English homily (excerpted below), delivered at the Eucharist in memory of Pope Benedict XVI on the eve of the third anniversary of his death, Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller praised the former pope for his theological legacy [and despite the fact that Ratzinger’s pontificate paved the way for Bergoglio's].
“As prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, he set standards of the highest diligence, intellectual precision, and incorruptibility for the Roman Magisterium.”
And: “During his pontificate, he was one of the greatest theologians on the Cathedra Petri.”
And again: “He has left us an immense theological legacy of exceptional quality and was rightly recognized as one of the great Catholic intellectuals of our time.”
For the Writer, Not the Reader
When Cardinal Müller presented Pope Benedict XVI with the first volume of the Opera Omnia, he explained that the project would eventually comprise 16 volumes amounting to an estimated 25,000–30,000 pages.

Doctors Raise Alarm Over Surge in Violent Immune System Collapse Following New COVID Vaccines

A previously rare, violent immune disorder is skyrocketing in clinical settings just as new COVID vaccines are administered—and public health authorities appear determined to look the other way.
The condition, known as
TAFRO syndrome, unleashes a catastrophic inflammatory response that can shut down the body in a matter of days. Patients experience plummeting platelet counts, massive full-body swelling, relentless high fevers, kidney failure, bone marrow scarring, and rapid enlargement of vital organs.
Many end up critically ill, hospitalized, and fighting for survival. Doctors warn TAFRO syndrome is not a mild reaction. This is immune system collapse.
