The Dictatorship of Relativism And The Catholic Teacher. Going Deeper-CatholicTeacherFormation on Sep 24, 2014 "In this video I explore the powerful words of Pope Benedict XVI on the 'dictatorship of relativism'. The effective Catholic teacher needs to understand that many powerful forces have been impacting Catholic education over recent centuries. Pope Benedict draws our attention to the truth that we need to be aware that relativism ultimately enslaves rather than liberates. He states:"We are moving toward a dictatorship of relativism which does not recognize anything as definitive and has as its highest value one’s own ego and one’s own desires. The church needs to withstand the tides and trends and the latest novelties. We must become mature in this adult faith, we must guide the flock of Christ to this faith." An authentic Catholic teacher needs to realise that a crucial part of their vocation and mission is to help young people encounter the truth and to point out the fact that …More
[Venerable Mary of Agreda – XVII Century AD; Agreda, Spain; Mystic; Writer; ‘Blue Nun’] “The blessed Virgin thanked her prudent spouse for the affection which he manifested for her, and they decided to set out immediately for the house of Elizabeth. St. Joseph prepared provisions for the journey,—some fruit, bread, and a few small fishes, which he purchased. He had also a little beast of burden, which was lent him to carry his provisions, and his spouse, the Queen of all that is created. With this equipage they set out for Judea. They had scarcely left their house, when our Queen, kneeling before St. Joseph, asked his blessing, in order to begin the day in the name of the Lord. The saint hesitated, for, by long experience, he knew the excellence of his spouse, but the holy and sweet importunities of the august Mary conquered, and he blessed her in the name of the Most High.» “At that time,” saith the sacred text, “ Mary, rising up, went into the hill country with haste, into a city …More
"St. Joseph went on before to give notice to the inmates of the house, and, having knocked _at the door, he saluted them, saying: ‘“ May the Lord be with you, and fill your souls with His divine grace.” St. Elizabeth had been already warned of their coming, for the same Lord had . revealed to her that her cousin Mary of Nazareth was on her way to visit her. Now, having heard of her arrival, she came forth quickly, with others of her family, to receive the holy Virgin, who saluted her first, saying: “ The Lord be with you, my dear cousin.” ‘“ And may the same Lord,” replied Elizabeth, “reward you for having taken the trouble to give me this consolation.”

This 25-year-old Swedish woman was murdered and dismembered near a train station by a man who had legally changed his name to a woman's name. He had previously been charged with kidnapping a 10-year-old child and possessing tens of thousands of images of child pornography, for which he served only one and a half years in prison. Due to his previous crimes, the police granted him protected personal information, making it impossible for anyone to find out where he lives and leaving people unable to avoid him. Now, he could end up in a women's prison.

DECEMBER 31 2025 THE GOSPEL breski1 Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 1,1-18. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be. What came to be through him was life, and this life was the light of the human race; the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. A man named John was sent from God. He came for testimony, to testify to the light, so that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but came to testify to the light. The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world came to be through him, but the world did not know him. He came to what was his own, but his own people did not accept him. But to those who did accept him he gave power to become children of God, to those who believe in his name, who were born not by natural generation nor by …More
A 1987 interview with Archbishop Lefebvre, which reveals his mind prior to the 1988 consecrations. "Today however, it is the Faith itself which is at stake. I sense that the ‘conciliar’ Church changes and places the very centre of the Catholic Faith in danger. For this reason obedience is no longer possible; for even the Pope does not have the power to change the Faith, he is but a servant of the Faith. To accept Religious Liberty, Ecumenism, the Conciliar Reforms, would appear to me to be contributing to the ‘auto-demolition’ of the Church. In conscience, that is not possible for me. The Liberalism of the Pope is destroying the Catholic Faith from within." “If it is my duty, I will consecrate bishops”
There is no statistical evidence of a mass conversion or religious revival among young adults in the United States, according to the Pew Research Center’s Religion Holds Steady in America report published December 8. No Mass Conversion Among Young Adults Contrary to claims often made in neoconservative Catholic publications, young adults are not returning to Christianity in large numbers. - Young adults (aged 18–30) are significantly less religious than older Americans, a trend that continues today. - Around 55% of the youngest adult group identified with a religion in 2025, which is almost unchanged from 57% in 2020. - Only 1% of adults aged 18–24 have converted to Catholicism, while 12% have left it. - Similarly, only 1% have converted to schismatic Orthodox groups, while a similar proportion have left. - Overall, 26% of young adults are former Christians, while just 5% have converted to Christianity in any form. Blessed William Howard | Catholic Martyr of the Popish Plot | December 29th On 29 December 1680, Blessed William Howard was beheaded on Tower Hill, accepting death rather than deny his Catholic faith. His martyrdom exposed the cruelty of religious persecution fueled by fear and lies. Recognised as a martyr for the faith, he was beatified by Pope Leo XIII in 1886. Today, Blessed William Howard stands as a witness to truth, conscience, and fidelity to Christ in the face of injustice. St Joseph's Corner Son of Thomas, earl of Arundel, England. Does Christmas End on Epiphany? Dec 25, 2025 By Gretchen Filz We all know that Christmas officially begins on Christmas Eve, but when does Christmas officially end? The answer gets a bit complicated. On January 6th, the Feast of the Epiphany (in most places in the U.S. the feast is transferred to the Sunday between January 2 and January 8), the Church celebrates the biblical event where the Magi, also called the Three Wise Men or Three Kings, traveled from the East to pay homage to the newborn King, Jesus Christ. Many believe that this is the date when the Christmas season officially ends, being the end of the traditional 12 days of Christmas. However, according to the Roman Catholic liturgical calendar, Ordinary Time doesn't officially begin until the Monday after the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, which (usually) falls on the Sunday after Epiphany (January 6th). This means that the Christmas season actually extends beyond the popular "Twelve Days of Christmas." In 2017 we have …More

The Irish Episcopacy like the German One has been dying since the 80s due to the influx of progressive idealisms. Female Ordination is an example of such folly
Archbishop Eamon Martin of Armagh, Ireland, lamented in an interview with TheTablet.co.uk on 28 December that the Vatican’s study group on female deacons had been “published in isolation” from those of the other nine synod study groups set up by Pope Francis. He would have preferred the report on women deacons to be published alongside those of the other groups examining co-responsibility and the role of lay people in the Church, as this would have provided a more balanced perspective, in his view. He added: “It’s interesting that Pope Leo XIV said this question remains open rather than saying it's over.” Archbishop Martin considers it "a really important question" of how women can fully exercise their baptismal priesthood. He considers his question “very, very pressing” because “those who have thought that the path to decision-making, leadership and service in the Church goes through the priesthood will now feel that women are excluded”. In Dublin, Women Are “Ministers of the …More
The Synodal wing, which effectively dominates Ireland’s stagnant Church, appears to be grappling with cognitive dissonance in light of Rome’s unequivocal refusal to approve women deacons
