Historic Cathedral, Now a Parish Church, Abused for Political Dinner: On June 12 and 13, a 'Heavenly Dinner' was held in St. Andrä’s former cathedral, the historic episcopal church of the now-defunct Diocese of Lavant in Austria. Today, the Cathedral serves as a parish church. Several local restaurateurs jointly prepared the dinner, while local politicians and other guests dined inside the church. Before the meal, a table prayer was recited. As host, Dean Fr. Gerfried Sitar welcomed the guests. During the evening, the clergyman was also awarded the Gold Plaque of the City of St. Andrä.

June 15th - Saint of the Day: Saint Amos, Prophet Faith without justice is just noise. Saint Amos was not a priest, a scholar, or a polished religious influencer. He was a shepherd from Tekoa, tending flocks and sycamore trees, until God called him to walk into a wealthy, comfortable kingdom and tell the truth nobody wanted to hear. Israel looked blessed from the outside. Money was flowing. Worship was happening. People were showing up for the religious festivals. But behind the scenes, the poor were being crushed, the courts were corrupt, and the powerful were using religion as a cover for injustice.
