Senegal passes law doubling penalty for same-sex relations to 10 years in prison
Senegal’s parliament on Wednesday passed a law doubling the maximum prison term for same-sex relations to 10 years, intensifying a crackdown on the LGBTQ community. The bill, which also criminalizes promoting or financing such relationships, now awaits President Bassirou Diomaye Faye’s signature amid reports of dozens of arrests since February.
Senegal's parliament on Wednesday passed legislation doubling the maximum penalty for same-sex relations, making them punishable by up to 10 years in prison amid a crackdown on the country's gay community.
The text, which must now be signed into law by President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, passed by an overwhelming majority in the National Assembly and also includes criminal penalties for those found guilty of promoting or financing same-sex relationships.
Media have reported the arrest of dozens of men under the country's anti-LGBTQ laws since February, when police

Leo XIV’s Future Cardinals: Soft, Emotional, Less Masculine

Miguel Escrivá analyses on InfoVaticana (March 13) the episcopal appointments of Leo XIV that may have strategic significance.
He looks to those positions where becoming a Cardinal is almost assured:
- Filippo Iannone – Prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops
- Josef Grünwidl – Archbishop of Vienna
- Stanislav Přibyl – Archbishop of Prague
- Ronald A. Hicks – Archbishop of New York
Escrivá wants to glimpse what type of cardinal is beginning to emerge as a reference point of the new pontificate.
He calls Leo XIV’s type of church leader a “post-conflictual clergy” that is media-friendly, focused on dialogue and process, avoiding clear doctrinal confrontation and shifting the Church’s direction without declaring it.
Filippo Iannone (Bishops) has a technocratic profile and is identified with the juridical-canonical apparatus of Rome. He will shape the episcopal body “from above with soft, manageable, and doctrinally porous profiles”.
Josef Grünwidl (Vienna) is the boldest toward the …More

Our Lady Mary Mediatrix of All Grace, The Title given by the Blessed Mother to the Visionary – Teresita Castillo in 1948, A Carmelite Postulant in Carmelite Monastery, Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines Mary Mediatrix of All Grace – Our Mother and …

For those who do not know yet, the Lipa apparitions began on September 12, 1948, when a 21-year-old postulant named Sr. Teresita began to have visions of Mary in the garden of Lipa Carmel Monastery in Batangas, Philippines. Mary is said to have appeared to her on a cloud, dressed in simple white robe with a small belt and a golden Rosary hanging on her right hand.
Our Lady appeared to Sr. Teresita for 15 consecutive days in the garden and gave her messages about loving one another, simplicity, humility, obedience, penance and sacrifices, prayers for the priests and religious, and to pray the Rosary every day with devotion.
Our
Lady also reminded us that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, pointing us all to go to or return to Jesus.
In addition to the apparitions, there were also showers of rose petals and some, later on, were found to have imprints of religious images.
On the last day of the apparition, Our Lady said: “I AM MARY, MEDIATRIX OF ALL GRACE.” The ALL GRACE is …

Milone: Leo XIV Misleads on Vatican Finances - Pell Died Hours After Routine Surgery

The Vatican’s former financial auditor Libero Milone told EWTN.com on March 12 new details about the financial irregularities at the Vatican and the death of his friend Cardinal George Pell. Milone worked at the Vatican from 2015 to 2017.
Corruption In the Vatican
Milone said he and George Pell uncovered financial irregularities and possible fraud. He insists certain problems were not accidents, incompetence or technical errors: “It wasn’t a glitch. We found specific instructions on how the system could be used.”
The Vatican system allowed changing the destination IBAN after a transfer was initiated.
Another example suggested misappropriation of charitable funds. €2.5 million were sent to a children’s hospital to build a new ward (10 tranches of €250,000). But the ward was never built. The money entered the hospital account and then left again. Milone reported the case to Vatican authorities but no investigation response followed.

Just a paragraph to show why this war is an extension of the "Errors of Russia." The Bolshevik's are playing both sides and we know the outcome already! God bless you!

How Russia has Benefitted From the War

The rise in oil prices combined with shortages have allowed Russia to gain more profit from their own oil sales, and the shortages have increased smuggling incentives to evade US sanctions. But wait! Trump appears to be coming to the rescue by using the shortages to say he is going to wave sanctions on India and China for buying Russian oil. Politico explains:
For Russia, the surge in oil prices amounts to an economic windfall at a crucial moment, as the cost of four years of war in Ukraine threatened to spill over into a domestic economic crisis.
The assault on Iran may undermine Moscow’s claim to stand by its allies, but it is already benefiting Russia’s economy and, by extension, its war against Ukraine — leaving the Kremlin well placed to emerge as one of the main beneficiaries of the expanding conflict in the Middle East.

And Trump knows that Iran is getting satellite intelligence from Russia on the location of US ships and forces.
Even worse, late this week, Trump’s hand picked …More

Lebanon Appeals for Vatican Aid in Preserving Christian Presence

Much focus is being given to the current military manoeuvres made by the warring nations in the Middle East, but as ever an overlooked factor is the deleterious impact on long-standing Christian communities.
On March 10th, Lebanon’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Youssef Raji called his counterpart at the Vatican, appealing for the Church’s aid in maintaining the Christian community in Lebanon. Raji’s call with Archbishop Richard Gallagher, the Vatican’s Secretary for Relations with States, was publicized by both the Lebanese
government and the Holy See’s in-house news room.
“I asked the Holy See to intervene and mediate to help preserve the Christian presence in those villages, whose residents have always supported the Lebanese state and its official military institutions, and have never departed from this commitment,” Raji said of the call.
According to the Lebanese Foreign Ministry, Gallagher affirmed the Holy See’s already active commitment to “making all the …

The Moslem brother, seeking further revenge, announced to authorities that Roderick had converted to Islam. When Roderick awoke, he was questioned about it, and denied the allegation, claiming allegiance to Christ. The Moslem authorities took this to be apostasy, deciding Roderick was denying his new Moslem faith. He was imprisoned for several months, and then martyred with Saint Salomon of Cordoba.

The Finger of God in a Divided Land | Cardinal Pizzaballa’s Farewell to the Nuncio Msgr. Yllana
On March 12, 2026, at the Notre Dame Institute in Jerusalem, His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, presided over the farewell Mass for Archbishop Adolfo Tito Yllana, Apostolic Nuncio to Israel and Cyprus and Apostolic Delegate to Jerusalem and Palestine. In this profound homily, the Cardinal reflects on the "bipolar" nature of the moment—a time of both thanksgiving and farewell. Drawing from the Prophet Jeremiah and the Gospel of Luke, Pizzaballa highlights the Nuncio's role as a "prophet of listening" in a land tragically "divided against itself." Key Highlight: "The prophet is not judged by success, but by faithfulness. You announced, you called, you testified... being Church in the Holy Land means 'gathering,' not dispersing. It means being instruments of unity where the world sows division."
