You want to be a WHAT?!?
20 July 2011
Humor
A sister at a Catholic school asked her students what they want to be when they grow up.
Little Suzy declares, "I want to be a prostitute."
"What did you say?!" asks Sister Grace, totally shocked.
"I said I want to be a prostitute," Suzy repeats.
"Oh, thank heavens," says Sister. "I thought you said 'a Protestant!'"
:o)

Hi Holy Cannoli 🤗 and thanks for the explanation,
I figured as much. But for some reason the jokes that involve our Protestant brothers and sisters seem a little if not a lot antiquated and in bad taste. why perpetuate such disdain for our separated brothers in Christ? I would rather find humor in something other than at the expense of Protestants. Perhaps a matter of taste in humor I suppose. 👌

Man attacked by kids at Metro - bystanders watch, film it.
Dozens of people witnessed it. Several people filmed it. Nobody helped.

✍️ Great thought provoking questions to such an intense video Holy Cannoli-
I can never find the words to express my astonishment at those who do not react in defense of the weak especially being Catholic. It breaks my heart truly to see this and to know that there were others witnessing it and gaining such entertainment from anothers suffering.
The questions you pose are thought provoking and ones I have often thought about this very same scenario. I will NEVER understand how one can just sit there and watch such violence-- let alone RECORD it.
If I were attacked so brutally I would probably deal with the psychological and possibly spiritual demons that would encourage me to lose hope in all good in mankind and possibly seek a form of revenge. After all it's natural instinct to want to get back at those who hurt us especially when we are "innocent" in the matter.
With that said, I know that I would pray fervently in opposition to such inner dealings of the mind and soul. I would commend my self to our Mother and pray the rosary as i know that is a weapon- if not the weapon of choice to attack the demons that would want me to seek revenge. I lay my trust and confidence in Her to guide me back to remembering that NO ONE was more innocent than her son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and that he suffered the worse beating of them all and for those who mocked him, spat on Him, and made his entire body one open gaping wound. i would (after much prayer and contemplation I am sure) offer up my suffering to that of His which in comparison is nothing.
If I saw someone else being attacked, i would intervene if I knew i would not be able save the person on my own i would encourage others to help and if not i would call 911, i would pray, and if God so wanted me and instilled in my heart to do so I'd go for it. I just can't see myself watching, I just can't. How horrific the thought. Truly.
I would offer up a prayer for myself and any other soul that might be hurt, a perfect contrition (hopefully) for all my sins and take the chance and help. If I die, so be it. Not to be hero but to stand up for another soul, for we are all brothers and sisters.
This is truly sad though, so sad that these types of occurrences of violence are so common throughout the world. I never ever get complacent or numb at seeing such horrors. It gets me every time.

This is most wonderful. What a way to start to my day, hearing such an amazing message such as this. I pray that we all experience the Epiphany where our Lord presents Himself to us daily. We cannot let the "tyrants" dominate our lives so that we can have Jesus present and move forward as true Christians. Thank you so much Father Reto for such a beautiful and powerful message.
😇 The peace of our Lord be be with you all

I LOVE this! Thank you for putting up the video AND the information of how this beautiful feast day is celebrated throughout the world. I am orginally from Spain and I remember fondly the awaiting of the three kings to visit our house as we left our shoes out that night. 👌
😌 We also have the same treat as does Mexico, the rosca de reyes. In it we can find a tiny toy and we always waited in anticipation to see whose piece had that toy in it. It was very nice to read on how others celebrate this most blessed day!

Rapping Baby Jesus.
It's Baby J's birthday today and He wants you to pray! Baby Jesus has some Christmas raps that He wants to share with you on his special day!

🤨 "Baby J"????? Really?? This is not good. Have we really resorted to shortening our Lord's name to the initials J.C?? I'll have to agree with Cannoli in his feelings towards this video. It's in poor taste to show our Lord and Savior in such a disrespectful manner. It's just not cute nor is it appropriate...in my most humble opinion. 🤨

Pope invites on religions to pray for peace in Assisi.
A new World Day of Prayer for Peace of Religions in Assisi, 25 years after the first event convened on October 27, 1986 by John Paul II. Benedict XVI announced this after praying the Angelus on the Solemnity of Mary Mother of God, and the 44th World Day of Peace. The pope will travel as a pilgrim to the city of Saint Francis in October, "and invites fellow Christians of different denominations, the leaders of the religious traditions of the world and, ideally, all people of good will to join this journey and solemnly renew " the commitment of believers of all religions to live their religious faith as a service to the cause of peace. To call out that priest or sister whose agenda is to continue to destroy the true teachings of our faith and who wishes to make it one that is agreeable to their liking. 👌 True wake up call...the sun is setting on the world indeed. Thanks for posting this one up Holy Rope. I just very recently met Michael Voris in person and heard him speak and he is truly behind every message he sends out. You hear him speak and it moves you to the core of your soul, makes you want to get out there and fight the good fight!! He just tells it as it really is.

The Material and the Spiritual Universes.
Catholic priest preaches on the relationship between the material universe and the spiritual universe, between the body and soul. Explains some of the mystical truths of the Eucharist on the feast of Corpus Christi, the Body and Blood of the Lord.

Holy Cannoli, you're so arrogant. What are we in college now? doing intext citations do u prefer APA or MLA? Whatever. Get off your high horse. All you do is stir up trouble Ive read countless posts of yours and while you attempt to be humorous, you're crass and demeaning to all those who try to show some form of participation to these posts. You have no class and there are countless times you have said things to offend your fellow bretheren. Who cares who got what from what, and how etc. this is not a college course nor is anyone submitting papers for a grade here. They are contributions to a video (which mind you is WAY off subject by now) You're making an ass out of yourself.
And before you start "quoting" anything I've said to you, remember you are only showing more of your classless, tasteless, uncultured, and rather assenine side of yourself when you do. Aside from the fact that no one cares what you think about me. You are a sinner like the rest of us, and all of us here are Catholic, we all have a LONG way to go to our saintly perfection. So put the stones down..and CARRY ON!!!

This is great!!! I love love love this! As an amateur astronomer I am pretty biased though. One only needs to look at our universe to see the absolute greatness and amazing creation that our Lord has given us. I love this. Thanks for posting this!
