We may resist his personal judgements if they seemingly contradict the faith, but we are not allowed to declare on the state of his soul. St. Thomas Aquinas calls such insubordination 'subversive'. Only an equal authority can pass judgement on a Pope. You cannot say he is not Catholic. You have no right or authority to do so. In publicly airing such sediments you are betraying your own Church. Are YOU Catholic? That should be your primarily concern.

Christ founded the HOLY, ROMAN, APOSTOLIC, CATHOLIC Church. If Christ founded it, then it is divine, eternal and indefectible. It cannot change and it cannot fall. The frail human administration may at times weaken its effect but it will always be the Catholic Church because the Holy Ghost is protecting it. Christ may seem to be sleeping in the boat during the storm, but, as it was then, it is a TEST of our faith.

Historically, it is referencing the Schismatic Eastern Church which was heavily infiltrated by the Joos and broke with Rome under their influence. It was from the once glorious Byzantine church that all the revolutionary poison of the Renaissance and Protestantism originated from. Wormwood is the name of a poisonous plant so the name is very fitting.
You have been side-lined by that false line of La Salette. Let go of that, and the true interpretation of Scripture becomes clearer.

Uni Versum 2: Sorry, this is not Calumny. The facts are as they are: This line "Rome will lose the Faith..etc is a 1879 corruption of the original and legitimate message recorded in 1951. And this corrupted version was officially condemned and placed on the Index of Forbidden Books by the Vatican.

The (original) message of La Salette was against working on Sundays and the profanation of the Holy Name of Jesus. I don't like the use of the word 'embittered' either, however it is a historical fact that Melanie was forbidden to reveal the secret (other than to the Holy Father) and yet years later violated this prohibition with a sensational version that Pope Pius IX (who was in possession of the original secret) clearly did not approve of. It seems to me Melanie was a simple soul whoes mind was worked on by outside influences.

The city of the 7 hills is Jerusalem - it has already fallen. Rome has risen in its ashes.
If the Church teaches that the Church is indefectible, then it is indefectible. 1290 days = (roughly) 3.5 years. This is clearly at the time of the actual anti-Christ - the great world-wide persecution. We do not know for sure what this means, but what do know is that the Catholic Church will continue on - possibly an underground movement headed by the Holy Father. Daniels actual words are "And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away..." (Dan. 12: 11). This sounds like it is universally outlawed for 3.5 years. We are not there yet...
Planting the Muslims back into Christian countries is the first phase towards this 3.5 nightmare.

That the Mystical Body of Christ (with St. Peter as the head) is indefectible is a doctrine of the Church: the doctrine of the indefectibility of the Church, was articulated by Pope Pius XII in the dogma "Mystici Corporis Christi," 1943.

The Holy Roman Catholic Church IS the mystical body of Christ: eternal and divine. And the St. Peter of 33AD is the same St. Peter of 2025AD; a mixture of divine authority and human frailty. Three times St. Peter denied his Lord and Saviour. And yet Christ still chose him to be the head of His Church; the HEAD of the mystical body of which we are all members. And despite over two thousand years of enemy infiltration, the Ship continues to float. Because the Holy Ghost is at the tiller fulfilling God's promise of protection and victory. Pope Leo may be a weak Pope, but not one doctrine of what was taught at the beginning of the Church's history has changed. This is miraculous and tells us that this is our time to step up and re-enforce the traditional liturgy and spirit back into the Church of Rome and help save our fellow Catholics.

Do not listen to these protestant words. Christ promised that the gates of hell would not prevail; that the Catholic Church - upon the rock - is indefectible.

The Papacy cannot be eternal if there are now "occupiers"; it's a contradiction of terms. The Catholic faith teaches we must recognise St. Peter even when he is personally denying Christ; he's personal failings do not alter his God given authority. When His Grace Archbishop Lefebvre called us to seperate from the 'concilliar church' he meant for us to seperate ourselves from the error being taught, not from the establishment itself. He always advocated 'recognise and resist'. It's a question of making distinctions.

Instaurare Omnia in Christo: Firstly, I probably agree with most of what you have to say. But what I don't like is when its said uncharitably. Not even one understands the full picture, so when you do make a case, ensure it is in context and measured. Wild attacks like "she's a liar - her husband's a liar" may well be true, but it can be confusing when it is directed at something Melania may well be doing legitimately. Secondly, man, you have got to learn to take criticism with a calmer spirit. You wrote a flippin essay in response! Surely we can all air our points of view without one or the other having a victimized melt down.
