Pacifism

I believe that there has never been a more opportune time for a digression on pacifism than in these days of war that we are experiencing. Because, in reality, pacifism has never seemed to have contributed so much to diverting consciences, [softening] wills, and disarming the most just and imperious resistance. And, above all, it has never sought to hide itself as insistently as it does today under the skin of a lamb, pretending to be very Catholic.
I therefore believe that readers of Legionário will benefit from spending a little time reflecting on the subject.

Catholic Social Teaching also says that the would be immigrants or refugees should obey the laws of the nation they intend to immigrate to, and respect their society, laws, and nation. That means if they immigrated illegally, they are not following Catholic social doctrine!
How many times have the most monstrous violations of international law been explained as heroic outbursts of patriotism by an aggressor nation! How many times, on the other hand, have the most sacred rights of individuals, families, or corporations been trampled underfoot on the pretext that the interests of the Fatherland demanded it!
@Jeffrey Ade thanks for share it!! my great online friend, brother Jeffrey... yes!! Just looking at the problems with nationalists surrounding the U.S. immigration issue makes it even clearer... As I mentioned yesterday, it is absolutely right to decisively deport illegal immigrants and refugees who have committed dangerous crimes, as well as immigrants and refugees who have joined vicious Islamic extremist groups. No sane person would oppose this... However, there are also many immigrants and refugees in the United States who have lived without committing crimes, and among them are a great many Catholic and Christian immigrants and refugees... I am convinced that showing them the utmost tolerance is the right thing to do. Even the most heretical American cardinals and bishops acknowledge this point, clearly recognizing the right to defend against dangerous illegal immigrants or refugees, and vicious Islamic extremist forces. Yet, within the scope I mentioned, it is absurd to criticize even the request for humanitarian measures specifically for Catholic and Christian immigrants and refugees... As I mentioned earlier, Trump's deportation policies against dangerous illegal immigrants and refugees have proven less effective than those of Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden. Simply put, I'm convinced this is nothing more than a circus for show.. Even if we're a small minority, even if we're just one person, I firmly believe that it's important to walk the right path. How glorious it would be if even one person could walk the right path! and then... until the moment our Lord Jesus Christ allows, whether it is now or tomorrow, we must fight against all false ideologies and defend Orthodox teachings and the true truth!!! May the our Lord Sacred Heart of Jesus always grant you, your family and all your loved ones infinite graces....Holy Mary, all Angels and Saints.. pray for us...
