Letter from SSPX Superior General Bishop Fellay to Bishop Williamson
23 September, 2011
Your Excellency,

I would also be happy to send you a text from Rome to which they want a reply. However, I find myself obliged to attach conditions to each of these points.
Firstly, as to the text, I ask of you an oath in writing that you will communicate to nobody either the text or its content.
Too often in the past you have lacked discretion, so I am obliged to submit you to a procedure of this kind, which I am not happy to have to do.
...Moreover the consequences of your attitude are harmful to the SSPX: you ooze distrust towards SSPX headquarters and the Superior General. You cannot help yourself communicating this feeling to those around you. No revolution could do a better job of undermining authority …More

None of us know if the letter is a fake. We each have the opportunity of reading it in full and deciding for ourselves However, Maurice Pinay does know and as stated as much at his blog in the comment section.

It's [the letter] not a joke. Readers with the required contacts may verify its authenticity. That's all I can say for now.

Although 100% authenticity can not be proven at this point, I would prefer to trust the statement of an author who is using his own name (Maurice Pinay) and who is risking his own reputation than I would trust the musings of any anonymous poster on the internet.

Nobody know if this is an original letter or a fake one. Is not good that several catholic blogs spread something that can be slander .
Se e' vera allora …More
