I wonder what his predecessors and our forefathers would think of these platitudes, when they gave their lives in disobedience of unjust government decrees. How would he compare with the Faith of our Fathers eh?

Probably the same way they felt when the Anglican rite (the one that was being used while great English martyrs were hung, drawn, and quartered) was welcomed as a legitimate rite under JPII. Just because of women “bishops.” Think of all those who suffered under that rite just for it to be embraced.
