We neglect knowledge of essential ontological and anthropological matters...

"(...) in the societies we live in today, it has become a habit to trample on science and observable reality. There, we deliberately choose to ignore and thwart objective, empirical, or scientific approaches to reality. We discredit and silence the voices of authentic scientists. We combat science and research that disturbs. We neglect knowledge of essential ontological and anthropological matters, relegating them to the background, or better yet, discarding them, in order to impose a soothing and conventional discourse on everything, as if there were nothing left to see, nothing to discuss, nothing to object to.

Science and reality thus disappear, replaced by the mass and continuous dissemination of the official scientistic ideology. An ideology whose articulation is reserved for a caste composed of individuals and institutions politically dubbed and accredited for this purpose. The mainstream media and official educational systems perform this sleight of hand on a daily basis. Those falsely presented as scholars, scientists, and experts are responsible for imbuing citizens with it during the great masses of ordinary propaganda that serves as information. Those of television news, reports, podcasts, shows, and other entertainment that flood the airwaves and screens with their insane chatter and their entirely biased science." (p. 5)
