Fear of the Lord Changes Everything
The fear of the Lord, a gift of the Holy Spirit, is not about being afraid of God but about loving Him so much that we fear offending Him. This fear of the Lord, exemplified by Mary, Joseph, and Elizabeth, enables us to conform to God’s will. To grow in holiness and allow the Holy Spirit to work in us, we should pray for the fear of the Lord and the grace to remove obstacles hindering its operation.
