I agree with Instaurare Omnia in Christo - I don't find it particularly funny; I find it misguided. It takes away from the seriousness of what we are preparing for and suggests that a secular power could do a better job of it. The office of the Papacy is divine; it should be treated with respect and not trivialized down to a secular level. And hey, like Instaurare Omnia in Christo, I'm entitled to such an opinion. After all, isn't this what this forum is all about; an exchange of points of view?

Sorry @Noname Senki I just can't see it as humour. I have a great sense of humour. But not with anything Holy. I know some will see it as funny. I just can't. I know someone who use to make jokes about GOD when I was a teenager. When I asked him to stop, he said to me. GOD has a sense of humour. I asked him if GOD told him that. Like tom he was not happy with my question. It's the way I have always been. And I can't see myself changing.

@Instaurare Omnia in Christo As a real Catholic, the current situation in the Vatican can only be understood as a joke, a humour born of the Lord's indulgence. Otherwise, we would be in danger of collapsing. As long as they don't make a joke (meme) out of doctrine, I don't think it's such a problem. The doctrine, is as red-posing to me as the bull in the hunt.

I take my faith seriously. I never cared for joking about GOD or my faith. By what I learned and read and was told, I can't see anything funny in it.
When you say we collapse, do you mean the people? Not the Church right? If people collapse, they are weak and don't have enough strength and faith to carry them through the hard times. I learned to have both long ago. They need peace in their lives.
When I first came back to Mass I wanted to know what happened to my Church and to our Faith. When I found out, I sobbed and cried for years. But not for me. But for Our Lord. Such hatred they have for Him broke my heart.
From what I have learned from Saints and GOD, there is nothing funny about our Faith. Our Saints I am sure is not happy with that picture at all. Most lost their lives to protect our faith and GOD.
Some people want to laugh at it, so be it. I will stick with what I know in my heart and by the teachings of our Saints and GOD. I know you didn't mean any attacks on me. And why I thanked you.
