KING OF OUR LIFE -RE DELLA NOSTRA VITA.
Christ is truly my king if He is at the center of my life; if He has power over me; if I allow His word to guide me; if His example is the norm in my doings. If today’s festivity is to be more than just a mere formality or an additional example of religious triumphalism, the Church has to belong more and more to Christ and become the place where He reveals Himself.
Cristo è veramente mio re se sta al centro della mia vita, se ha il potere su di me, se mi lascio guidare dalla sua parola, se il suo esempio è la norma del mio agire. Se la festa di oggi non vuole essere una pura formalità o un ulteriore saggio di trionfalismo religioso, la Chiesa deve diventare sempre più proprietà di Cristo e luogo della sua rivelazione. g.l.
