Vom Stellvertreter Christi wurdest du bestellt zum himmlischen Patron und Schutzherr der von Christus gestifteten Kirche. Mit größtem Vertrauen bitte ich dich heute um deinen wirksamen Schutz für die ganze streitende Kirche.
In deiner wahrhaft väterlichen Liebe schirme in besonderer Weise den Heiligen Vater Papst Benedikt XVI. und alle Bischöfe und Priester, die mit dem heiligen Stuhle Petri in Verbindung stehen. Nimm dich aller an, die inmitten der Leiden und Trübsale dieser Zeit am Heil der Seelen arbeiten! Gib, dass alle Völker der Erde willig sich der Kirche fügen! Sie ist für alle zum Heil unumgänglich notwendig.
