Father Mawdsley goes through the writings of Luisa Piccaretta, pointing out very carefully, specific writings which are inappropriate, suggestive, and even suggesting Jesus gets into bed with her. It seems to be satanic, sexual imaginings. He mentions other spiritual writings to give us something which lead us to true devotion.

Piccaretta's writings are worse than Tucho Fernandez's eroticism. This can only come from the enemy.
Enemies of the Church delight in taking biblical quotes out of context. They accuse grotesque cannibalism out of eating “flesh and blood”. Very easy for detractors to dishonestly discredit the Bible and Creation by the same method.

That may be true, Scapular. What part that he's quoted do you find out of context, and do you believe this woman receives messages from Christ, and not the devil?
giveusthisday, Piccaretta is in the Index of prohibited books. It says : pseudo-mystic.

Luisa never wanted to write any of the 36 volumes down. Only under obedience has she a grade 1 student written the absolutely most sublime treatise on the Divine Will. As a Catholic by the grace of God, I don't prefer my judgment to that of the Church. Piccaretta has been put on the Index of prohibited books, which means that we're not allowed to read her writings. Again, it's not up to me to set my personal, fallible judgment against that of the Church. It is in obedience that we recognize the true Christian.

Yes, for very good reasons; she believed she was the only person ever created who would not be obliged to undergo judgement. Twice the Holy Office issued statements against Sr. Faustina and the Divine Mercy devotion. Divine Mercy Polemic IX: Br. Theodore Roriz O.C. Refutes Michael Hichborn on Divine Mercy
