Dec. 6 The Feast of Saint Nicholas

“He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you’re awake. He knows when you’re a heretic, and he’ll punch you in the face!”

Legend has it Saint Nicholas, Bishop of Myra (who is said to be the inspiration for Santa Claus), struck Arius the heretic for denying the eternality of Christ and triune nature of God during his speech at the Council of Nicea in AD 325.

Moral of the story... Don't dabble in false doctrine around Saint Nicholas.

Deck the halls, and heretics too.
