Our citizenship is in the heavens and from them we await the Savior the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transfigure our wretched body to conform it to His glorious body, in virtue of the power that He has to subdue all things to Himself” (Phil 3,20-21). Our homeland is to conform ourselves to Christ’s glorious body. Our homeland goes beyond what we see: beyond ourselves, beyond the material nature of things. Yet we are always tempted to stop.
