Rome-SSPX: Declaration of the General Chapter of the Society of Saint Pius X sent to the Holy See
As announced in the press communiqué of the Society of St. Pius X’s General House on July 14, 2012, the members of the General Chapter sent a common statement to Rome. It has been published today.
During the interview published at DICI on July 16, Bishop Bernard Fellay stated that this document was “the occasion to specify the (SSPX’s) road map insisting upon the conservation of the Society’s identity, the only efficacious means to help the Church to restore Christendom”. “For,” he said, “doctrinal mutism is not the answer to this “silent apostasy”, which even John Paul II denounced already in 2003.”
At the conclusion of the General Chapter of the Society of St. Pius X, gathered together at the tomb of its venerated founder, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, and united with its Superior General, the participants, bishops, superiors, …More

Bishop Fellay: Get ready to put on your armor since you will be dealing Gerhard Muller, New Head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, appointed by Pope Benedict XVI. From what I have been reading from reliable sources, this man has said unflattering things about the SSPX. Stand firm against this Modernist and have the confidence that Our Lady will have your back!!

Yet they still don't 'get it' or just plain refuse to admit the Novus Ordo is a bomb, a joke but most of all a desecration to the Lord. They must enjoy watching women and young girls up in the sanctuaries taking the place of all male servers in hope of fostering future vocations to the priesthood...they must think nothing of their priests not using a communion plate and having the Host drop to the floor...or having an open homosexual/lesbian distribute communion to them.....oh, what an acceptable and tolerant church we've become. Lord have Mercy!

What does it mean to be "In union with Rome"?

Here's an example from Rochester, NY.

Bishop Clark has skirted Vatican authority at every turn, weakened the Catholic school system, confused parishioners through lenience on social issues, and turned the Rochester diocese into the most liberal district in the country. He’s shown benevolence towards gay and lesbian Catholics, given leadership roles to women not seen in other dioceses, and has generally been accepting of progressive theologians, such as Curran.

Yet, Bishop Clark is in “full communion” with Rome.

So, while being in "full communion" with Rome, Bishop Clark mocks the Catholic faith and its Traditional teachings, betrays Jesus Christ and it's all done with absolutely no fear of any negative consequences.

Evidently being in "full communion" with Rome has its advantages.

Is it any wonder many Catholics do not take the appellation of “full communion” (or threat of lack thereof) seriously?

There were Catholics in 1870 that refused to accept the doctrine of papal infallibility proclaimed by the First Vatican Council, and as a consequence, separated themselves from Rome, forming the “Old Catholic church”. There is one question, and one question only that must be asked of Bishop Fellay and his fellow Bishops without further delay. Is the SSPX prepared to assent to the Magisterium of …More

There is one question, and one question only that must be asked of Bishop Fellay and his fellow Bishops without further delay. Is the SSPX prepared to assent to the Magisterium of Holy Mother Church in its entirety? If not, they should go into the wilderness and reflect on their disobedience. I am sorry to be so emphatic but the doubletalk emanating from the Society of St Pius X must cease. No priest, bishop or cardinal is greater than Holy Mother Church.

Comments from Rorate Caeli:
Bishop Fellay has made it very clear through the years that he is in submission to Benedict XVI.
Rather there are high ranking members of the Curia that block Bishop Fellay's humble obedient intentions in action, towards the Holy Father, since those same Curial officials are not submissive to him themselves
